With Kevin Costner leaving Quentin Tarantino's upcoming slavery-themed epic, Django Unchained, it seems the wait wasn't long to find another aged all-star. The Hollywood Reporter claims that Kurt Russell is currently in talks to replace Costner as Ace, a ruthless slave driver on Leonardo DiCaprio's deep south plantation. If Russell signs on, he'll join the previously cast DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz and Michael K. Williams.
All I have to say on this matter is that I hope it's true. Kurt Russell could only tip this thing over the edge with it's already superb cast and director.
Django Unchained hits cinemas Christmas 2012.
